About Dr. Alex

My
Story
I graduated with honors from the University of Bridgeport, earning a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master’s in Human Nutrition. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, I am a certified provider of Active Release Techniques (ART), a specialized soft tissue treatment that's particularly effective for athletes and those dealing with chronic conditions.

My clinical background is diverse. I completed over 2,000 hours of in-patient clinical rotation as a medical intern at two top-tier hospitals in Beijing, China. My Chiropractic training took place at the University of Bridgeport outpatient clinic, and I also had the opportunity to complete an internship with the Bridgeport Bluefish, an independent minor league baseball team, along with a clinical rotation at the Community Health Center in Connecticut.

I firmly believe that true health comes from a balanced lifestyle, combining proper exercise and nutrition. I’m also convinced that comprehensive, personalized care—rather than just addressing one symptom—leads to a higher level of wellness. I’m excited to bring my knowledge and experience to Allegany Chiropractic Center, where I look forward to helping you achieve better personal health.

Outside of work, I’m married with two daughters. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, playing tennis, and I’m a huge Manchester United fan.
